Itinerary

We will meet at the bus terminal where we will take a private transport and drive into the country side of Valparaíso’s region. We will go directly to the La Campana National Park where we will park and make the inscription to the park as you will have to do it in any National Park in Chile. The park have many paths from where you can visit and discover every corner of the mountain but we will take the path call “El Andinista” (the climber) which will take us to the top of the mountain.

Through the forest we will have some breaks to eat and rest, two especial ones are “la mina” (the mine) and “La Placa de Darwin” (The plaque of Darwin) both with amazing views to Limache’s valley and The Andes mountain. After this stop is the last part which is the steepest until you reach the top of the mountain with approximately 1 hours only in this part for a total trekking of 4 hours approximately. On the top we will spend some time to enjoy the view, rest, eat and take amazing photos and then start coming back to the base of the mountain in around 3 hours trekking downhill following our footprints. In the base we will take our private transport and go back to Valparaíso until the bus terminal where we started.
