We Take You Trough The Streets Of Valpo

Valparaíso, Chile, is a coastal city steeped in history, color, and character. Founded in the 16th century by Juan de Saavedra, it quickly became a crucial trade hub between Europe and the Pacific. In the 19th century, Valparaíso thrived as Chile’s main port, evolving into a vibrant melting pot of cultures reflected in its unique architecture – a blend of Victorian mansions, colorful hillside houses, and winding streets.

The city played a role in political and cultural developments, attracting writers and artists like Pablo Neruda. Despite setbacks, such as the 1906 earthquake, Valparaíso recovered and, in 2003, UNESCO recognized its historical significance and architectural beauty.
